Refuse & Recycle Vehicle Hire is an ever growing sector of Collett Transport Services.

It started while Collett Transport Services was maintaining vehicles for a local council during 2004.

We acknowledged the pressures being placed upon Local Government to recycle and the problems they faced in obtaining suitable specialist vehicles.  In particular, there appeared to be a shortage of Kerbsiders, bringing about the idea that we could ourselves offer these specialist vehicles for hire.  Collett Transport Services Vehicle Hire was born.

Since then, we have steadily increased our fleet, we currently have a large variety of vehicles available, including 13 to 18 ton Kerbsiders, Toploaders, 7.5 ton to 14 ton Stillage Vehicles, 7.5 ton Kerbside Stillage Vehicles, 7.5 ton to 26 ton RCV's, Hook Loaders, Front End Loaders and Twin Packs.

With the backing of our successful Commercial Vehicle Repair business, our fleet are very well maintained, exceeding the high standards expected by the Ministry of Transport.  We can offer a full maintenance package if required, with a priority service in the unfortunate event of a breakdown, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  We have 15 mobile service vans that carry out repairs at locations travelling nationally.  Our hire fleet are covered by 24 hour quick response breakdown assistance.  In our experience, this has proved invaluable to our customers, giving them a unique service bringing complete satisfaction and peace of mind.
