Collett Transport Services Team at Berkeley HQ

The Collett Transport Services story . . . 
Andy Collett started in business as self-employed in 1994 operating an eight wheeled tipper vehicle carrying aggregates from the local quarry.  After training as a commercial vehicle engineer Andy gained vast experience since 1986 so carried out his own maintenance and repairs.  Due to demands placed on him for his skills, he realised the potential for going back into his trained profession so in 1997 Andy began a mobile repair service, working from a fully equipped mobile service van in the local area.  He built up a customer base and offered a 24-hour breakdown service.

In 2002 Andy met his future wife Bridget who soon joined him in business.  Together they strengthened foundations to grow their future business.  It was then that they took on their first employee, gave him a van and slowly developed a fleet of mobile service vans with skilled technicians operating from their home in Cromhall.  In 2004, CTS bought their first two Recycling vehicles which were soon hired into a local council.  As a proven successful husband and wife team, together Andy and Bridget have steadily expanded the company developing it into what you see today.

We have an increasing number of employees due to our growing success, each and every one of us is aiming to make Collett Transport Services the best in our field.  Through consistent hard work and commitment to exceeding all expectations, our goal is to offer an all round top quality service and in January 2007 we were awarded two UKAS Accredited Quality Marks, reflecting our committed approach to standards within every aspect of our business.  Then in 2010 we were nominated through to the finals of the Gloucestershire Business Awards, although we did not win, it was another recognition for our achievements that we deserve and something that every member of the team at Collett Transport Services is very proud of.
